Indian University Delegations Visit RT to Strengthen Media Education Cooperation
RT Academy continues to strengthen international co-operation in media education. Representatives of its partner institutions from India — the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) and Bennett University — visited the RT headquarters in Moscow.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding joint educational initiatives. The Indian colleagues expressed strong interest in organising masterclasses, seminars, and other collaborative formats. Special attention was given to developing partnerships with leading Russian universities, with upcoming discussions planned with representatives of MGIMO University and the Higher School of Economics.
Co-operation with Indian universities already has a solid foundation: last year, RT Academy actively developed engagement with several leading institutions in India. The current visit marks a natural continuation of this work.
Internships, professional development, and employment opportunities for students were highlighted as key topics of discussion.
“It is important for us that students learn more about RT and develop an interest in RT India. We aim to ensure that internships are not just a line on a resume: students receive support, attention, and real professional experience,” said Anna Kovtunova, Head of RT Academy.
RT Academy looks forward to further strengthening co-operation with its Indian partners, developing joint educational programmes, and building long-term professional relationships.
