RT Media School Session in Abkhazia
On February 17–18, a two-day intensive by RT experts took place in Sukhum and Gagra.
More than 150 people gathered for masterclasses led by top specialists from the channel, including chief editors, producers, cameramen, as well as reporters from Abkhazia's leading media outlets, students from specialised universities, bloggers, and influencers.
The programme covered various aspects of media production: principles of creating dynamic and modern news content, field reporting techniques and the specifics of unique stories, current issues in copyright and related rights, documentary film-making technology - from concept to realisation, mobile shooting, and strategies for promoting a major Telegram channel.
The programme's highlight was a creative meeting between participants and RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan, who also heads the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group.
All attendees received certificates of completion for the RT Media School course, while the top performers gained access to the RT School online course and an opportunity for an internship at RT's Moscow headquarters.
